Up the Geirston

I went up the Geirston Road the other day just me, the wife and the dog, as always got some glorious views of the town but it wasn't until we were coming back down the hill that I came across what I think is one of Kilbirnie's hidden treasures, I did not know that the Logans at Bankhead farm had opened a wee shop that sells antiques, curios and collectables, must admit its a great wee place if your after something different/retro for the house or yourself, took me ages to prise the wife out of the place.seriously though it is a lovely wee shop and Greta Logan is a very welcoming host.

If your looking for items to dress your house or if you are a collector then the logans shop will have items of interest for you, seriously though I know this has turned into a shameless plug, but I honestly think that the "Stirrup Cup" is a lovely wee place supplying some gorgeous items and I wish the Logans all the best in their venture.

Sorry forgot to say that my wife was very taken with the jewellery that is a varied mixture of antique and modern, thats why it took so long to get her to leave....
