Do you remember the fire tragedy in Kilbirnie in 1991 that claimed the lives of six members of the Dunlop family?

There is an article in the Daily Record today in which Kelly-Marie Nimmo, 20, who is expecting her first child, thanks readers who raised money to help her and her brother Andrew after her mum and five siblings were killed in a horror blaze.

Kelly was dragged to safety - sleeping in her pram - by a hero neighbour who crawled into the blazing living room to rescue her. She now works as a sales adviser with a bank and lives with partner Ross Wilson, 25, an engineer, in Kilmarnock.
