in reply to the comment from the person who moved away from newhose drive in 1970 saying it was a youngsters playground, well it still is only the youngsters these days like to damage and set things on fire. this has happened 6 times in the last week. i am against these allotments 200% and will fight to stop them from happening.

I would like to wish everyone who gets involved with this project lots of success. I hope the vandals leave it alone when you get started. I moved away from Newhouse Drive in 1970 and this was our playground as youngsters. We had a good sized area cut short for football and of course we all had a den up the bing. Best of (growing) luck.
