Liam Muir's campaign to lower the UK voting age to 16

Hi, I am Liam Muir and I am from Kilbirnie. I am 13 and I have started a campaign to have the UK voting age lowered to 16. I have got a website and a petition which are available at the end.

I believe if you can own a house at 16 you can vote at 16 because you must be mature. I have contacted 40 MP's and I am trying to get as much support as possible. To show your support, go to the website or the petition, thanks.

You nay be able to own a house at 16 but that's only a mater of money, but can you maintain the house, to keep it from falling down over a period of years, or are you the type that will let it fall down and go buy another. How many 16year old`s do you know that can afford to own a house. Sorry at 13 you have not lived and are not experianced to know what life is all about.

i agree what liam should of expressed is you can have sex with the responsibility of being a parent and get married with the responsibility of being a wife or husband at 16 you should be able to vote ! and most young mothers and fathers do a better job bringing up children than older adults at 16 you have the responsibilty of being an adult by Law and should be allowed to vote especially when a high percentage of issues effect young adults education , jobs etc dont be to quick to dismiss after all the older you are the more synical you are, young adults tend to see the world less tainted.
